Ireland defender Shane Duffy has hailed his 'second dad' David Moyes after the Scotsman led West Ham to victory in Wednesday's Europa Conference League final.
Jarrod Bowen's late goal gave West Ham the 2-1 win over Fiorentina and secured a first piece of silverware for the Irons since the 1980 FA Cup.
Manager Moyes has been a popular winner with many football personalities taking to social media to praise the 60-year-old who has had to battle back from an infamous 10-month stint as Manchester United manager and a relegation with Sunderland to get back to the top.

Duffy played for Moyes in his Everton days and has always spoken highly of the West Ham boss, and took to Twitter last night to praise the Scot for the role he played in Duffy's career.
"I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy for a single manager than David Moyes ! Someone I look up to as a second dad who took me to Everton as a 15 year old! Well done West Ham ! My dad will be happy up above," said Duffy, whose own father Brian passed away in 2020.
Duffy signed for the club in 2008 and made 10 appearances under the stewardship of Moyes before the former Preston manager departed for Manchester United in 2013.
Wednesday's Europa Conference League win was the first piece of silverware Moyes had won in his 25-year managerial career.
