Shakira looked emotional as she bid farewell to Barcelona for good following her split with Gerard Pique.
The Colombian pop star, 46, is moving to Miami after reportedly being served an 'eviction notice' by her ex's dad, Joan Pique.
Reports in the Spanish press say the singer received an email from Pique's dad on March 13 asking her to vacate the former couple's home by April 30 - or pay compensation.
Pique, 35, who used to play for F.C Barcelona, has now moved on with Clara Chia Marti, 24 - and Shakira looks like she's getting as far away from the couple as she can.
Looking tearful in the airport dressed in double-denim, the star hugged her friends and family before making her way onto her private jet.
The Hips Don't Lie star was accompanied by her two sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, who are rumoured to be starting school in America on April 11.
On Sunday, Shakira wrote a heartfelt tweet addressing her departure, saying: "I settled in Barcelona to give my children stability, the same that we are now looking for in another corner of the world next to family, friends and the sea.
"Today we start a new chapter in the search for our happiness.
“Thanks to everyone there who encouraged me, dried my tears, inspired me and made me grow.
“Thanks to my Spanish fans who have always protected me with their love and loyalty.”
She went on to share a photo of a wing of the plane she left the Catalan capital, adding: “But things are not always how we dreamed them.
“At times we run but we don’t arrive.
“Never doubt that I’m going to be here.”
Shakira's departure comes after the star performed her 'diss track' Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53 on the Jimmy Fallon show, telling the host the song had been "a healthy way to channel my emotions", adding she'd had to "put up with so much c**p".
The singer later looked like she was crying while out shopping in New York with Spanish newspaper El Periodico reporting the alleged 'eviction' email was the reason for her tears.
The news outlet reported Shakira had been told she had to leave the mansion in Barcelona where she has continued to live following her split last year from Pique.
The house, where Shakira famously installed a witch on the balcony in an apparent jibe at Pique’s mum who lives next-door, is said to have been owned by the former couple before Joan Pique became the sole shareholder, following his son's split with the singer.
Spanish media have not specified how much “compensation” Shakira would have had to pay, as part of the agreement when the property ownership changed last September, if she hadn’t left by the end of this month.
The Mirror has contacted Shakira and Pique's reps for comment.
