Shakira Cancels Lima Concert Due To Hospitalization

Colombian superstar Shakira has canceled her scheduled concert in Lima after being hospitalized with an abdominal condition. The singer shared the news on her social media accounts, stating that doctors advised her against performing due to her current health condition.

Expressing her disappointment, Shakira mentioned her excitement about performing for her Peruvian fans and apologized for not being able to take the stage as planned. She had arrived in Peru on Friday and was set to perform on Sunday and Monday as part of her Latin American tour, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.

Shakira's fans in Lima had eagerly awaited her arrival, with crowds gathering at airports to welcome her. Despite the setback, the singer expressed gratitude for the warm reception she received in Peru.

The album has received critical acclaim, with one of its tracks, 'Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,' becoming a global hit.

Shakira's tour will continue across Latin America before moving on to Canada and the United States in May for a series of concerts scheduled through June. Fans eagerly anticipate her return to the stage once she has recovered from her current health issue.
