Shakira breaks her silence on social media following the breakdown of her eleven year relationship.
The singer and footballer Gerard Pique split after rumours about cheating began circulating.
But despite going through a tough time, she took to Instagram to celebrate the release of the latest episode of her new show, Dancing With Myself.
In the video she was seen dancing beside her co-judges Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy.
She captioned the image: "Don’t miss tonight’s episode of Dancing With Myself! 10/9c on @nbc".
Colourful as ever she wore a luminous yellow dress with built-in gloves.
Her honey blonde hair was in loose waves and she opted for a natural palette of make up.
The trio did a Mexican wave of dance moves together before one of the crew was heard saying: "One minute away guys!"
Shakira and Gerard released a joint statement which was printed in English and Spanish on June 4.
"We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy."
Rumours that Shakira had caught her partner of over a decade having an affair started circulating just days before the statement was shared.
There were reports in Spain that he was "staying alone in his own apartment for weeks" after Shakira allegedly discovered he had been cheating.
Neither have addressed the claims.
The couple share Milan, 9 and Sasha, 7 and never tied the knot after Gerard said he "liked it how it was".
During an appearance on The Overlap, he told Gary Neville: "No, I'm not married. It's her mentality.
"I like it how we are right now. We have two kids, nine and seven right now. We work good as a couple."
In 2014 Shakira told Latina magazine: “[Gerard is] with me because he wants to be with Shakira the person, not the celebrity.
“There’s real love, there’s no ulterior motives. And I’m with him because he’s the most amazing man I’ve ever met. We want the same things, we like the same things, we hate the same things. I have never been with someone so passionate in my life.”
The pair met when Gerard was training in Madrid ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
