It has been no secret that Arsenal are keen to sign Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Mykhaylo Mudryk during the January transfer window.
football.london reported on Friday that the Gunners are closing in on a move to bring Mudryk to the Emirates Stadium with talks now focusing on the structuring of the deal. Potential add ons could be decisive, but it is thought that negotiations are heading in the right direction.
Some reports have also suggested that Mikel Arteta's side are confident that the Ukrainian international will join in time to be in contention to make his debut against Manchester United next weekend, with the deadline for registering new arrivals having already passed for Sunday's clash against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Now, Shakhtar have taken to social media with a cryptic message, sending Arsenal fans into meltdown in the process.

The Ukrainian club's Twitter post read: "We prepared some news for you today," accompanied by an eyes emoji. It is currently unclear whether or not the tweet has anything to do with Mudryk, who has consistently made it clear of his desire to join the north Londoners in recent times.
Speaking in September in an interview with CBS Sports, he said: "I do dream (of the Premier League). I think every guy dreams about the Premier League.
"Arsenal is a very good team with a very good coach. I like the way they play. Yes it would be hard to say no from my side, I can't say no but the transfer is not only my decision and my word."
