Starring Waterloo Road's Mark Benton and EastEnders and Stay Close's Jo Joyner, Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators is a comedy-drama set in the Bard's birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon, where ex-detective Frank Hathaway (Benton) and his business partner Luella Shakespeare (Joyner) run an unorthodox but highly-successful private detective service.
When is it on?
Series four of Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators starts on Monday, February 14 at 2.15pm on BBC One.
How many episodes are there?
There are 10 episodes in this new series and they will run every week day for the next two weeks.
What's it about?
Frank Hathaway (Benton), a hardboiled private investigator, and his rookie sidekick Lu Shakespeare (Joyner) form the unlikeliest of partnerships as they investigate the secrets of rural Warwickshire’s residents.
Beneath the picturesque charm lies a hotbed of mystery and intrigue: extramarital affairs, celebrity stalkers, missing police informants, care home saboteurs, rural rednecks and murderous magicians, embezzling accountants and abducted au pairs, blackmail, comp claims and custody cases, all-night stake-outs and professional hits.
Our odd couple of detectives will put the world to rights as they snoop and pry. They disagree on almost everything, yet somehow, together, they make a surprisingly effective team. Although they would never admit it.
Who's in the cast?
As well as the titular two, regular cast members Patrick Walsh McBride is back as Sebastian Brudenell and Tomos Eames is back as DS Joe Keeler.
What about guest stars?
Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators has had some great guest stars over the past three series, with many-a-face from UK telly. Tamzin Outhwaite, Jim Moir and Christopher Timothy have all been in it so far.
Series four will see I’m A Celebrity campmate and West End musical star Ruthie Henshall, Strictly contestant and Red Dwarf's Danny John-Jules, reality star Jodie Prenger and Tracy-Ann Oberman also appear.
Also appearing in this new series is award-winning deaf actress Gabrielle Leon, who's best known for her role as Jade Lovall in Casualty and left the show last year.
