Shai Gilgeous-Alexander somehow grabbed a rebound while holding his lost shoe during Thunder-Pacers

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander didn’t let a loose shoe keep him from snagging a rebound during a game on Friday night.

During the team’s evening tilt with the Indiana Pacers, Gilgeous-Alexander lost one of his shoes while going up for a layup.

However, the Thunder star grabbed the rogue sneaker and continued to play in the game. He even grabbed a one-handed defensive rebound while holding on to the shoe.

It’s hard enough as it is to snag a rebound while in motion during an NBA game, much less pull that off while holding one of your shoes in your hand. These guys are world-class athletes for a reason!

Gilgeous-Alexander is taking off as one of the best young stars in the NBA for a reason, and he can now add this fascinating highlight to his reel.

He can also take heart that he can pull something like this off just wearing one shoe.
