Although the Jazz managed to keep the game close, Gilgeous-Alexander's heroics proved to be the difference-maker. He returned in the final quarter and sealed the victory with a clutch 3-pointer that gave the Thunder a 115-106 lead.
Despite missing injured center Isaiah Hartenstein, the Thunder found a way to overcome their lack of size by capitalizing on Utah's turnovers, scoring 39 points off 27 turnovers. The Jazz, on the other hand, capitalized on offensive rebounds, scoring 31 second-chance points off 23 offensive boards.
Looking ahead, the Jazz will visit Memphis on Saturday, while the Thunder will host Dallas on Thursday.
