The SFA have named Michael McArdle interim Head Coach of Scotland's women for February's UEFA Nations League fixtures.
The dark blues take on Austria and the Netherlands next month in the first international break since previous boss Pedro Martinez Losa departed.
The Spaniard led Scotland to a Euro 2025 play-off final against Finland, only to lose 2-0 on aggregate and miss out on a place at this summer's tournament.

McArdle, who is the SFA's current Head of Elite Women's Football, temporarily takes the role, seeking to help his country bounce back from the disappointing defeat to the Finns.
SFA Chief Executive Ian Maxwell offered an update on the hunt for a permanent boss after McArdle's interim appointment: Having Michael step in as interim Head Coach for the women's national team means that we can fully prepare for the upcoming Nations League games," he said (scottishfa.co.uk).
"The recruitment process for a permanent Head Coach continues."
McArdle initially joined the SFA from St. Mirren in 2023, departing his position as Head of Academy Coaching at the Paisley side.
He now takes charge of the women's national side, hoping to get their upcoming Nations League campaign off to the perfect start.
