Channel 4 has become known for its controversial experiments but Sex Tape could be set to take the cake for the most out-there.

The series will delve into the lives of three struggling couples with cameras following their every up and down, including the ones that happen behind closed doors.

What is Sex Tape about?

Sex Tape: The new show is set to hit screens on Friday (Channel 4)

Sex Tape is all about the relationships between three different couples, who are all battling personal issues.

The revealing four-part series will walk viewers through the very best and worst moments of their romances while getting candid on the issues affecting their sex lives.

Episode one sees Brian and Victoria faced with some brutal truths as they navigate their relationship with Victoria admitting she signed up for the show so Brian could see “the way he treats me because it wasn’t right”.

The couple also openly revealed that trust became an issue for them after Brian cheated on his other half and so they were hopeful the show’s relationship therapist Anjula Mutanda could assist them in rebuilding the broken parts of their love-life.

After each pair has made their “sex tape” they meet Mutanda and the other two couples who are taking part in the show to watch back the footage before everyone weighs in on what they’ve seen on-screen.

As for how much sex is actually show, the show emphasises that it is all “quite discreet” and happens under “moving duvets”.
