Sex Education fans, Netflix needs you. With production on the fourth series about to begin, a casting call has been posted to social media. The new series was announced in September.
The Netflix original, which films around south Wales, became an instant hit when it first launched on the streaming service in 2019 and there were two critically-acclaimed follow-ups, centred on the daily doings of the students of Moordale Secondary School. With an impressive cast headed up by Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackie and new Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa, the baton now falls to you to join the cast (all be it, in a small role.)
In a post from Mad Dog Casting on Twitter, fans have been asked to email their interest to sexed4@maddogcasting.com, if they would like to feature in the new series. No previous experience is required.

The series tells the story of how one Moordale student Otis, (Asa Butterfield) opens up a sex clinic at the school, following in the footsteps of his mother Jean (played by Gillian Anderson) - a sex therapist.
Sex Education last saw Emma Mackie's character, Maeve Wiley, leaving to pursue a study programme in the United States, leaving Otis heartbroken.
Mad Dog's post says that filming for Sex Education Series 4 will take place in Newport, Cardiff and other South Wales locations. You can see all of our favourite locations here - and you can even stay at Otis' house. Whilst a date for filming has yet to be released, fans should expect filming to begin soon as Ncuti Gatwa (who plays Eric Effiong) is expected to start work on Doctor Who imminently.
