Severe weather at Celtic Park casts doubt on Dundee clash

Celtic’s Scottish Premiership match against Dundee - scheduled for Saturday, January 25 - could be in doubt.

Severe weather conditions due to Storm Eowyn have caused significant disruption at Celtic Park, with some damage reported to the stadium.

However, Celtic’s relevant safety teams have been unable to fully assess the extent of the damage due to the ongoing extreme weather in Glasgow.

A red weather warning has been in place throughout Friday, with it set to be reduced to amber come the proposed 3pm kick-off on Saturday.

Many trains have already been cancelled as operator ScotRail battles with the effects of the storm.

Celtic say they hope to provide supporters with a conclusive decision "as early as possible on Saturday morning".

A club statement confirmed that Celtic will be doing all they can to ensure that it does go ahead and also thanked fans sincerely for their understanding.
