Several schools remain closed as snow and ice disruption continues

SCHOOL pupils across Scotland have once again been forced to stay at home as snow and ice continues to cause disruption.

A yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place for much of Scotland, including the Highlands, Orkney and Shetland, the west coast and the north east.

ScotRail has already warned that some services could be disrupted due to the weather while Traffic Scotland has urged people to plan ahead.

Here’s a look at school closures across Scotland and it is worth checking individual council websites for updates.
