Several roads in Glasgow city centre have been closed due to a 'major' accident.
St Vincent Street, Newton Street, Elmbank Street and Elderslie Street are all affected by the incident.
999 services are on the scene.
Reports on social media claim that "a large section of the road is blocked off with police and vans in attendance."
Traffic signals are also off due to being damaged in the accident.
Police Scotland confirmed that they were attending an incident where a car had struck a pedestrian.
A spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on St Vincent Street, Glasgow, around 7.40pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
“Emergency services are currently in attendance and a number of road closures are in place.”

The following roads are closed:
St Vincent Street(Westbound) is now closed between Pitt Street and Elderslie Street.
There is no access from Elmbank Street to St Vincent Street.
St Vincent Street(Eastbound) between Elderslie Street and Elmbank Street.
St Vincent Street(Westbound) between Elmbank Street and Elderslie Street.
Newton Street (Southbound) between Bath Street and St Vincent Street.
