Some of Northern Ireland's best-loved bars are in the running to be crowned Pub of the Year 2022.
Seven pubs from across the country have been shortlisted for the honour at this year's Licenced and Catering News (LCN) Awards - a celebration of NI's hospitality industry and the places behind it.
LCN is the no.1 hospitality business magazine in the country and will hold its annual event on September 30 at the Europa Hotel.

The seven venues that made the shortlist are:
- The Courthouse Bar, Lurgan
- Guildhall Taphouse, Derry
- Hatfield House, Belfast
- Junction Bar & Grill, Limavady
- The Corner House, Lurgan
- The Grouse, Ballymena
- The Head O’The Road, Portadown
Speaking to LCN, Kevin Cassidy, owner of The Hatfield House said: “We are delighted at the Hatfield House to be nominated as a finalist for ‘Pub of The Year’.
“As a family-owned business, in a bar that is almost 150 years old we have inherited a great sense of pride and passion in our hospitality. We always ensure our customers have a great pub experience during every visit and it’s always been about us creating a brilliant atmosphere.
“Not only do our friendly and professional bar staff contribute towards making our pub special – of course the customers, the local community, the live musicians, chefs, suppliers, cleaning team everyone has a key part to play."
