MLS side Minnesota United have reportedly made an 'official proposal' to sign Nottingham Forest striker Hwang Ui-jo.
The 30-year-old made the switch from Bordeaux to Forest in the summer, before being immediately loaned out to Olympiacos for the remainder of the season. Despite not seeing regular game time in Greece, Hwang is subject of heavy interest from America.
A host of MLS sides including Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Atlanta United, Vancouver are also interested, as well as Korean and Japanese sides FC Seoul and Vissel Kobe.

Minnesota tried to sign Hwang in the summer before the Reds sealed the £4 million transfer. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Minnesota are keen to strike a deal this time around, and have sent an 'official proposal' to Forest.
Minnesota technical director Mark Watson said in the summer, after the club failed to sign Hwang: "We did go quite a ways down the line with him. His situation was really complicated.
"We have a lot of discussions. The one thing is we got a ton of names on our list. You don’t really know what the deal is until you get down the line a little bit."
