Held on November 4, the night at Hamilton Academical Football Club will include a huge fireworks display as well as a funfair, a licensed bar, food stalls, merch stalls and a live DJ.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Once again we offer the only fully covered seated fireworks display in South Lanarkshire.

“Please come along from 4.30pm and soak up all the fun of the event including some fab outdoor attractions.”

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children, with more details found on the clubs Facebook page here.

For nervous dog owners, or folks looking for a bit of peace and quiet on Bonfire Night, the Nae Fireworks event will be held at Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre on November 5.

Staff will be on site to ensure the area is a firework-free zone, with many walking routes. Organisers said: “Fireworks are not permitted at Whitelee Windfarm.

“They pose a danger to site infrastructure, can cause peat bog fires that can burn for years, and distress to the site’s wildlife and livestock, so please don’t bring them. Staff will be on patrol to prevent the use of fireworks but we cannot completely guarantee this.”

Details on the evening can be found here.

Strathaven Bonfire Night

On November 5, Strathaven Park will host an evening of fireworks, food and fun.

With bonfires and festivities, the events will kick off at 6pm and wrap up at 11pm. More information can be found here.
