Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has heaped praise on Crystal Palace's Joachim Andersen after his performance against Brentford.
The Danish centre-back returned to the Palace starting lineup for the trip to west London, having missed out in recent weeks after limping off with a calf injury.
He was back in the starting XI at the Gtech Community Stadium though, resuming his partnership with Marc Guehi as one of two changes from the 1-1 draw with Brighton the week before.

And Andersen put in another good display against the Bees, with Richards singling him out for praise on BBC highlights programme Match of the Day.
"[Joachim] Andersen, he has been brilliant again this season. He always organises from the back. You have got [Ivan] Toney and [Yoane] Wissa, two physical guys, and he dealt with them really well.
"When he was in possession of the ball, he is very comfortable as well and this was one of the games of his season, setting the tone."
However, Richards sympathised with Andersen and Palace after conceding a 96th minute equaliser, as Vitaly Janelt headed home to deny the Eagles victory and earn Brentford a point.
"But then, in the 96th minute, he [Andersen] just gets underneath the ball and this was the only mistake he made all game, and it was a costly one," Richards added. "He was brilliant and it will feel like a loss for Palace."
