A serious crash closed a main road in Swansea. The incident happened at around 5pm on Sunday, March 20 at Ffordd Cynore near Ystrad Road outside Tesco Extra, Fforestfach.
There are unconfirmed reports that there was a male casualty following the collision which saw the road closed by South Wales Police up to the estate of Llwyn Teg. The road was expected to be closed until further notice last night.
Officers advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes were possible. There were reports of traffic delays while emergency services attended the incident. It has not been confirmed whether or not there were any casualties

Pictures taken at the scene showed a high police presence and cordons in place. A spokesman for the force said last night: "We are at the scene of a serious collision at Ystrad Road by KFC towards the lights by Swansea Road, also internal exit road by Tesco onto Ystrad Road. The road is also closed to the estate of Llwyn Teg, members of public can come in and out on foot, but no vehicles.
