TWO people have been arrested following an alleged serious assault in Glasgow.
Officers were called to Carntyne Road in the city's east end on Saturday afternoon after they received a report of concern for a person and that a man has been seriously assaulted.
The 34-year-old man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
His condition is currently unknown.
A 57-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 57-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested following a report of concern for a person and a man seriously assaulted within a flat on Carntyne Road, Glasgow on the afternoon of Saturday, 15 February 2025.
“Officers attended and a 34-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
