Empoli left-back and Serie A starlet Fabiano Parisi had admitted that he is 'very pleased' that clubs like Leeds United have shown interest in bringing him in over to England in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old was originally linked with the Whites throughout the summer but Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi said there was 'no chance' of the club selling him.
But now, after the full-back's impressive start to the season, a move could be on for Leeds to swoop in and fill in a hole that has been plaguing them now for many seasons.

Despite all the transfer talk though, Parisi seems convinced that he'll only move away from Empoli once the season closes, as he told Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.
"I am very pleased that the great clubs are following me. But today I am concentrating only on Empoli. We will talk about the transfer market in June."
However, less than a month ago, Parisi's agent Mario Giuffredi told the same outlet he could leave as early as January after all the attention he's received from across Europe.
"I consider him a great team player. He can be the transfer man for January or for (next) summer. He’s (a player) of the highest standards. He can aspire to important goals. We had many clubs (showing an interest); from Atalanta to Torino to Fiorentina, Leeds and Nice. In agreement with Empoli, we decided to wait and see."
If the Whites do manage to land Parisi in January, it could fill a big hole in their defence which has been left by the inconsistency of Junior Firpo. While Pascal Struijk has worked wonders as a makeshift full-back, he's being played out of position and it's no secret Jesse Marsch has been on the hunt for a new prospect.
