After being left out of Tottenham's squad for their pre-season tour of South Korea, Sergio Reguilon has been linked with a move to Sevilla this summer.
Spurs have made five new signings so far in the summer transfer window, including the arrival of Ivan Perisic and Clement Lenglet. Both Perisic and Lenglet are able to play on the left side of defence, meaning Reguilon could struggle for game time after falling down the pecking order.
Antonio Conte has left four senior players out of the squad that has travelled to South Korea, hoping the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, Giovanni Lo Celso and Reguilon can find new clubs before the transfer deadline. The Spanish defender spent the 2019/20 season on-loan at Sevilla from Real Madrid, winning the Europa League with the La Liga outfit, and could be set for a return this summer on a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old defender joined the Lilywhites from Real Madrid in 2020 for a fee in the region of £25million. Mail Online are reporting that Sevilla have registered an interest in signing Reguilon from Spurs this summer, with their defender Ludwig Augustinsson likely to join Aston Villa on-loan to provide cover for Lucas Digne.
Reguilon made just 31 appearances for Conte's side last season and recently returned to training following a groin injury picked up towards the end of last season. The arrival of Perisic from Inter Milan means Reguilon's chances of first team football will be limited under Conte, with the Croatian set to come in and become the starting left-wing back.
Lenglet's arrival on-loan from Barcelona also adds more competition for the Spaniard, with the France international able to play at left back and centre-back. Reguilon has made just 67 appearances since making the move to N17 and now looks set to return to his home country in search of regular first team football.
football.london understands that Spurs are still in the market for a few more signings, including Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence. The club are yet to agree a fee with the Championship side after Spence return to pre-season training last week.
