Sergio Ramos booed in PSG win, Inter end Juventus streak, Pedri Barcelona's match winner

There were heavyweight clashes around Europe on Sunday night as Inter Milan closed on Serie A leaders AC Milan with a hard fought win at Juventus.

The Italian champions are aiming to chase down their city neighbours and are now within three points of the summit after beating Max Allegri's side. In France PSG put their recent troubles aside to ease past Lorient and close on another Ligue 1 title with the future of their manager Mauricio Pochettino still unclear.

Sergio Ramos, a summer signing who has barely featured this term, was booed by the home fans. In his homeland Barcelona recorded another notable win as they beat Sevilla, whose manager Julen Lopetegui is another man linked with a move to Manchester United. Here is a round-up from the games on the continent.

PSG 5-1 Lorient

Ramos was booed upon his arrival by the home fans at the Parc des Princes as PSG made light work of Lorient. The former Real Madrid man came on for Marquinhos with twenty minutes remaining but was jeered every time he touched the ball as his difficult time in Paris continues.

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar each grabbed a brace with Lionel Messi also getting in on the act. PSG led 2-0 at the break before the visitors pulled one back, but it would prove to be little more than a consolation.

Juventus 0-1 Inter

The Serie A champions continued their push to retain their crown with a narrow win over the Bianconeri at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus hadn't lost in the league since November thanks to a 16 match unbeaten run, but Hakan Calhanoglu's penalty in the first-half stoppage time handed Inter the win.

The Turk needed two attempts to slot home from 12 yards. His original effort was saved by Wojciech Szczęsny before the referee was told by VAR that Matthijs de Ligt had encroached on the initial attempt. It presented Calhanoglu with another chance and he duly slotted past Szczęsny.

Barcelona 1-0 Sevilla

Xavi's reformed side continued their impressive run of form being seeing off Sevilla at the Nou Camp. The win lift the Catalans above their opponents into second on goal difference. Barcelona, Sevilla and Atletico are now all sat on 57 points after Pedri's second-half winner.

The Spanish giants recently thumped runaway leaders Real Madrid in the Clasico at the Bernabeu and backed up their impressive form with another win against one of the best teams in LaLiga this term. Barcelona now sit 12 points behind Los Blancos, although they do have a game in hand.
