Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero believes the club will miss Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus after the pair completed transfers to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Jesus was the first to leave the Etihad and reunite with former City coach Mikel Arteta at the Emirates after completing a £45million move. Sterling followed suit and returned to the city he grew up in, signing for Chelsea as the Blues first signing under Todd Boehly's ownership.
football.london understands that the Gunners have agreed a £32million deal to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from City, poaching another transfer target from Pep Guardiola's side. Despite the arrivals of Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and Kalvin Phillips at the Etihad, Aguero believes the Premier League champions will miss both Sterling and Jesus next season.

The Former City striker wrote in his blog on Stake.com: “Both players were important in the City scheme. I’m sure City will miss them a lot as they are great players.
“There will be a new make-up of the attack but this is a team with a great squad that will be ready for new challenges.”
Aguero, who won five Premier League titles with City after a sensational ten-year spell at the club, has backed City's new signing Haaland to succeed, but did warn it could take time for him to adapt to Guardiola’s methods. Haaland completed a £70million move from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer and will lead the line now Sterling and Jesus have left the club.
“I think that an elite player like him will know how to reconcile his style with that of Pep’s teams,” Aguero wrote. “It may take a while, as it did in the beginning for me.
"Once he gets into gear everything will be simpler. I think he has the talent to fulfill what is asked of him, which are goals.”
Jesus will face his former side for the first time when the two teams play each other in October, whilst Sterling will have to wait until the new year. The former City duo face each other in Orlando, Florida at the weekend when the Gunners take on the Blues in the Florida Cup with both teams touring America in pre-season.
