Nottingham Forest full-back Serge Aurier has hinted that he may not be too far away from returning from injury, with the defender sending a message to Forest fans.
The former Tottenham man has missed the last four Premier League games after picking up a knock while on international duty with the Ivory Coast. Forest have lost all four games, with the latest seeing them fall to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United at the City Ground on Sunday.
The poor run has seen Forest drop into the relegation zone ahead of the final seven games of the season. However, only goal difference separates them and Everton in 17th position.

Aurier was watching from the stands as Forest took on United. They were again backed by a sell-out crowd with a display in the Trent End welcoming the players onto the pitch.
The full-back posted a video of the display on his Instagram stories after full-time along with a message reading: “We will fight until the end” with a fingers crossed emoji. Aurier then added: “See you soon,” in a hint that he could be back on the pitch sooner rather than later.
Before last week’s game against Aston Villa, Steve Cooper hinted that the defender could be close to making a return. "It's ongoing,” Cooper said of Aurier prior to taking on Villa. “We're all working hard trying to get any of the players who are managing things available.
“We'll give him every chance to be in the reckoning for Saturday. We'll see how that one goes.”
Forest will be hoping that he can make his comeback for next week’s clash against Liverpool at Anfield. The Reds will make the trip up to Merseyside on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick off) as they look to end a 10 game winless run.
Aurier has played a total of 18 times for Forest so far this season, scoring one goal. He signed a one-year deal with the club in the summer after leaving Villarreal as a free agent.
