Senior Journalist Raman Hitkari's book 'Ashiana McRobertganj' released in Delhi; Bigwigs in attendance

New Delhi: Writer, poet and wellknown TV journalist Raman Hitkari's book 'Ashiana McRobertganj' was released on Wednesday at India International Centre in Delhi, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The book was released by famed historian Prof Pushpesh Pant. Former Chief Secretary of Bihar Tripurari Sharan, poetess Anamika and Amitabh Srivastava were also present on the dias.

The author, Raman Hitkari, while talking to Dynamite News said that the book describes the memories of my journey from childhood to youth among the joint family living in the house in McRobertganj.

Prof Pushpesh Pant said that Raman Hitkari is not only my student but also my younger brother and we have family relations for three generations now.

Sahitya Akademi Award-winning poetess Anamika said that the author in the book has illuminate the lamps of all the memories of his relationships in such a style that itself reflects perception of time as well as place.

Senior journalist Rehan Fazal said that I have known Raman since college days and all throughout he has been a brilliant soul.

Many other dignitaries including Doordarshan Director General Kanchan Prasad, former Principal Director General of PIB Satyendra Prakash, senior journalists Virendra Mishra, Shambhunath Shukla, Amitabh Srivastava, Prof Malay Neerav, and Ashutosh were also present in the function. The program was conducted by former Doordarshan anchor Rajni Sen. 

'Ashiana McRobertganj' has been published by Anamika Publishers and Distributors, New Delhi.
