A golden oldie who had a traumatising start to life is looking for a forever home to spend his last few years on Earth.
Greyhound Felix was chained to a wall for nine years and only fed scraps of human food.
When Natalia George, founder of Flori's Friends Rescue in Kent, took the old dog under her wing, he was tired, depressed and "just had enough of life".
But with a lot of care, love and attention, his rescuers have brought him out of his shell and now Felix really adores humans and dogs.
Natalia says his elderly age doesn't stop him from having fun - but sadly it could be the reason nobody wants to adopt him.

She told The Mirror : "Felix is such a sweet, darling boy that really deserves a place to call home.
"He is the perfect dog despite being chained to a wall his entire life, and for some reason, not one person has applied to adopt him - potentially because he is older.
"We really want to find Felix a forever family to show him that there is some fun to be had still for him."
Natalia describes Felix as "gentle, calm and playful" and says he could live alongside older children and multiple other dogs.
He is currently in a temporary foster home in Essex with nine canines and enjoys playing in the garden.
Natalia added: "We would like to see Felix in a nice home for his golden years that can offer him plenty of time, love and patience and a nice garden.
"A home that has experience with greyhounds or similar breeds is a must."

Another dog desperate for a family to come forward is five-year-old Laura at Blind Dog Rescue UK.
Since being rescued, Laura hasn't stopped smiling and staff say it's because her whole world has become "so much brighter".
She is looking for a savvy owner with rescue experience, and would love to live alongside another friendly dog as she can become quite lonely on her own.
