Liverpool star Sadio Mane has been cleared to play for Senegal following his head injury in their latest match.
The Reds forward was forced to be withdrawn in his country’s last-16 tie against Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Following a clash of heads with opposition goalkeeper Vozinha, who was sent off following a VAR check, Mane was substituted after appearing to feel the effects of the knock.
However, minutes after the collision, Mane scored a sublime goal to put his country in front and on the way to a 2-0 victory to reach the quarter-final.

After the game, Mane was taken to a local hospital and checked for any effects caused by the head injury.
Now, in a statement released by the Senegal Football Federation, Mane has been cleared to play in the match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
According to a statement from Senegal's doctor Abdourahmane Fédior via ESPN , Mane suffered no trace of a concussion and is ready for selection.
"All the symptoms he had on the pitch are gone. His condition requires fairly close monitoring. Everything is normal on the X-ray," the doctor said in a statement.
Mane is not the only Liverpool player away with his country at the tournament, with Mohamed Salah representing Egypt who are also in quarter-final action on Sunday.
Naby Keita was with Guinea, before his country were knocked out of the competition earlier this week.
