Send Nudes: Downpatrick man Ronan Rice to appear on new Channel 4 reality TV show

A Co Down man with a passion for the entertainment world, will feature on a new reality TV show on Wednesday.

Ronan Rice, from Downpatrick, will appear on Channel 4's 'Send Nudes' tonight at 10pm. Hosted by Vogue Williams, it's the ultimate 'try before you buy' for people seriously considering cosmetic surgery, as they see what they could look like before making a life-changing decision

Speaking to Belfast Live ahead of the show, Ronan said: "This will be my eighth TV show since I started TV back in 2016. I have always wanted to do a show based on plastic surgery because whenever I got fillers and botox I kind of became addicted to it.

"I do plan on having more plastic surgery, but I don't want to do it too soon because I don't want it to be drastic and I don't want to ruin my face.

"I got offered this show two years ago for the pilot episode so when it got commissioned into a series, I was delighted to go back and film the series because it was such a cool thing to do. It allowed me to work with past colleagues who I had worked alongside on MTV in 2017.

"Going back on set again with them, it was like nothing has changed and we were able to work so hard together.

"Working with Vogue Williams was just a breath of fresh air. She was so sweet and we had so much in common because we are both Irish. She was just lovely and very professional. I'd love to work with her again.

"Send Nudes as a show, is so upbeat and colourful. The set was like a rainbow, it was beautiful. It really is a body confidence show and you see all your imperfections but at the end you realise that nobody is perfect.

"It is a powerful, and positive show, and I just hope everyone enjoys it."

Ronan says he is now delighted to be part of the E4 and Channel 4 "family", and has developed friendships and contacts that he will take into any future shows.

"Over Christmas, I like to take a break from TV, and focus on family and friends," he added.

"I do have a couple of Zoom calls next week to arrange some shows for next year, so you haven't seen the last of me yet. I am excited to start filming new projects, and I think I am going to stay away from being naked for a while.

"To all my followers and supporters, I just want to thank you all. You have pushed me to be the better me. They have been behind me, holding me up when I need them."
