What a rollercoaster season it has been for Nottingham Forest fans. What first was shaping up as a worrying battle again relegation to the third tier ended up being a thrilling assault on automatic promotion - a dream that was only snuffed out in the final week with defeat at Bournemouth.
Of course, there was the brilliant consolation of a play-off campaign still to come, and Steve Cooper’s Reds fully played their part by edging past Sheffield United to take the famous old club to Wembley to contest the richest match in world football. See off Huddersfield Town, and Forest are back in the big time - a Premier League club for the first time in 23 years.

Let’s face it, it is where they should be. The team of Clough, Robertson, McGovern, Burns, Birtles and Shilton - twice winners of the European Cup - should be part of England’s elite. But history buys you nothing. It’s results that count, and Forest must see off Huddersfield on Sunday if they are to clamber back to the top flight.
It will be tense, fans will be mind-numbingly nervous, fingernails will be bitten to the quick - but better all that in the plush surroundings of the “new” Wembley with glory beckoning than at some nondescript ground on a dark midweek night when avoiding the drop is the only “prize” on offer.
As such, it is only right that we should offer Cooper, his players and his backroom staff our thanks for a brilliant season so far and best wishes for glory at Wembley this Sunday. To make sure they know we are right behind them, just fill in the form below to wish the Reds boss and his brilliant team "good luck" on Sunday. We will past on your comments...
