As the nominations process for President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration officially begins, Senate hearings are set to take place this week for several of Trump's picks for the Cabinet. Here is a look at the schedule for the upcoming Senate hearings:
Tuesday
9 a.m.: Doug Collins, Department of Veterans Affairs
The former Georgia congressman, Doug Collins, will appear before the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee. Collins, a Baptist minister and former U.S. Navy chaplain, is nominated for the Department of Veterans Affairs, which provides health care to former members of the U.S. armed forces.
9:30 a.m.: Pete Hegseth, Department of Defense
Pete Hegseth, a former 'Fox & Friends' weekend host and Army National Guard combat veteran, will face the Senate Armed Services Committee. Hegseth's nomination for the Department of Defense has been met with some scrutiny regarding his fitness for the role.
10 a.m.: Doug Burgum, Interior Department
Former North Dakota governor, Doug Burgum, will appear before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for his nomination as interior secretary. Burgum has also been selected to lead the National Energy Council under Trump's administration.
Wednesday
9 a.m.: Kristi Noem, Homeland Security Department
South Dakota governor, Kristi Noem, is scheduled to appear before the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs for her nomination to head the Department of Homeland Security.
9:30 a.m.: Pam Bondi, Justice Department
Former Florida attorney general, Pam Bondi, will face the Senate Judiciary Committee for her nomination to the Justice Department. Bondi is a longtime associate of Trump and her appointment will be closely watched.
10 a.m.: Sean Duffy, Transportation Department
Former Wisconsin congressman, Sean Duffy, will be questioned by the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee for his nomination to the Transportation Department.
10 a.m.: John Ratcliffe, CIA
John Ratcliffe, former director of national intelligence, will appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee for his nomination to lead the CIA.
10 a.m.: Marco Rubio, State Department
Florida senator, Marco Rubio, is up for nomination as secretary of state and will face the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
10 a.m.: Chris Wright, Energy Department
Fossil fuel executive, Chris Wright, will appear before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for his nomination to the Energy Department.
1 p.m.: Russell Vought, Office of Management and Budget
Russell Vought, former OMB director, will face the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee for his nomination to the Office of Management and Budget.
Thursday
10 a.m.: Scott Turner, Housing and Urban Development Department
Former NFL player, Scott Turner, will appear before the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee for his nomination to the Housing and Urban Development Department.
10 a.m.: Lee Zeldin, Environmental Protection Agency
Former New York congressman, Lee Zeldin, will face the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee for his nomination to the Environmental Protection Agency.
10:15 a.m.: Pam Bondi, Day 2 before the Senate Judiciary Committee
10:30 a.m.: Scott Bessent, Treasury Department
Billionaire money manager, Scott Bessent, will be questioned by the Senate Finance Committee for his nomination to the Treasury Department.
