During a recent meeting, Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. engaged in a discussion about abortion. Tuberville mentioned that RFK Jr. expressed his full support for President-elect Donald Trump's stance on abortion, pledging to back him '100%.' Additionally, Tuberville indicated that Kennedy has his endorsement for the position of Health and Human Services secretary.
However, the conversation did not touch upon topics such as abortion drugs or the authorization of mifepristone abortion drug. Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri also shared insights, stating that RFK Jr. is dedicated to implementing President Trump's pro-life agenda and advocating for a comprehensive review of the scientific basis of various vaccines.
It is worth noting that Kennedy had previously voiced his support for the right to abortion until viability during his presidential campaign, a stance that had sparked concerns among conservatives.
