Senator Mitt Romney, the Republican Party's 2012 presidential nominee, has been vocal about his disapproval of former President Donald Trump. Despite his criticism of Trump and the former president's recent debate performance, Romney declined to confirm whether he would endorse Vice President Harris.

Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, another Republican who has expressed reservations about Trump, stated that she does not intend to vote for Harris. While she acknowledged Trump's debate shortcomings, Murkowski did not indicate support for the Democratic vice president.

These senators' deliberations highlight the complex dynamics within their parties, with some moderate members distancing themselves from Trump while others remain undecided on endorsing Harris. The reluctance to endorse a candidate reflects the ongoing divisions and uncertainties within the political landscape as the election approaches.
