Selling Sunset Stylist Apologises For Gross Homophobic Comments About Chrishell Stause & G Flip

A Selling Sunset stylist has issued a lengthy apology to Chrishell Stause and G Flip over allegedly making homophobic comments that came to light on the most recent season of the hit Netflix show.

Sammie Moussallem — a stylist who works for Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith — has taken to Instagram to apologise for the situation.

“I sincerely apologize to Chrishell and G Flip,” Moussallem said. “I now fully understand the impact of my words, and am truly sorry.”

“It is not my place, nor is it appropriate, to comment on anyone’s personal life.

“I am committed to working on myself and how I respond to situations moving forward.”

Moussallem also apologised to Smith for how his actions may have affected his client.

“I want to apologize to Amanza,” he wrote. “I am deeply sorry for any stress or harm my words and actions may have caused you, both personally and professionally.

“I am grateful for the opportunities you’ve given me, and I truly value the relationship we share.”

The apology comes after Stause aired her concerns with Smith about the stylist in a recent episode of Selling Sunset.

In the episode, Stause told Smith she wouldn’t attend her birthday party if her stylist was coming, claiming he had previously attacked her and G Flip.

“Is your stylist coming to your birthday party? He’s super homophobic and attacked me and G Flip,” she said in the episode.

“I’m not gonna be in the same room as him.”

Stause alleged that Moussallem called her a “fake lesbian” among other things.

“So he went on a very public rant just saying I’m a fake lesbian, that I’m nothing but a green card to G, saying that I’ve gotta get some dick in my hole. Like what does this have to do with G. And everyone’s like ‘Oh but he’s gay.’ Does that excuse any of those comments? It makes it worse, to be honest,” she said.

The comments Stause was referencing stem back to an earlier fight between her and the stylist regarding styling credit.

Back in June 2023, Moussallem was interviewed by Vice about styling on the show, in which he claimed he dressed Chrishell in an Ivy Park x Adidas jumpsuit — which prompted the brand to send him more clothes for the show.

Chrishell, however, refuted this in an Instagram story — claiming that Sammie hadn’t styled her.

“Most won’t know what this is about so just skip and I refuse to give attention to those so desperately seeking it while trying to completely twist things. An article came out where a stylist was quoted as having put me in the Ivy Park jumpsuit but I bought that suit and did not work with a stylist for any of Selling Sunset,” she wrote.

“I had Vice change the article to reflect the truth. I worked with this person once on a shoot many years ago and have ignored the spiralling rants of ongoing DMs and voice notes he has since sent. I have never tried to discredit this person — but I will correct things that aren’t true. Blocked and moving on.”

In response, Moussallem posted a series of Instagram Stories attacking Chrishell.

“Chrishell please stop being lesbian the acting is not real,” one story read.

“So Chrisell [sic] stick a d cause your h o l e g flip hasn’t givin you any action,” another said.

Following his apology, Stause has taken to social media to issue a lengthy statement, in which she threatened to take legal action against the stylist.

“I have having to address this bc this stylist is thriving off the attention,” she began.

Ultimately, Smith sided with Stause and uninvited her stylist from her birthday.
