Selling Sunset stars left terrified after armed robbery outside glam Hollywood office

The cast of Selling Sunset have been left terrified after an armed robbery took place outside of the Netflix show's office.

According to company founder Jason Oppenheim, a man was forced to hand over his luxury watch after a thief approached him with a gun in a parking lot of the The Oppenheim Group estate agents in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Jason, 44, spoke just hours after the robbery happened - revealing there are now strict measures in place to protect his staff.

He revealed he has banned his employees from wearing flashy watches and expensive jewellery as a precaution.

Jason told TMZ: "I told them not to wear jewelry or watches anymore. We have to be diligent, you've got to look over your shoulder these days.

He added that the cast were not present at the time, but he informed them all straight away.

The TV star added: "I've let everyone know of the situation. We still have to work as normal but obviously not wearing any watches.

"[We're] being careful, just looking around. It was very concerning, this city is having a lot of issues right now."

Jason also revealed he is going to hire armed security and is talking to the landlord of the offices to get extra protection.

He added he is now going to get a gun to protect himself and has already begun practice shooting.

Jason then concluded: "Between Christine [Quinn] last week, and this in the parking lot today, it's very real."

Christin, her husband and their son Christian Georges Dumontet were fast asleep when the couple were woken up by a noise outside of their home.

According to TMZ, the couple checked their security footage and noticed two armed robbers trying to break in through a window.

They reportedly called the police, but the invaders had gone by the time they arrived.

Talking about the scary ordeal on Instagram, she said: "We were sleeping and we woke up to noises. The noises started getting louder and louder, and we didn't know what was going on.

"We immediately checked the security footage and outside of the master bedroom there was two armed robbers breaking our glass window.

"Our windows are so strong, we have such good security in this house, that they weren't able to get in."
