Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Calls Out Co-Stars For Allegedly Spreading Lies

The new season of Selling Sunset hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already dripping with drama.

Season eight of the real estate reality series is set to drop on September 6 but it seems like the cast is still reeling with the fallout from filming. Over the last couple of days, some cast members have taken to their Instagram Stories to air their grievances and make some pretty huge claims about their fellow cast members.

While many of the Stories have disappeared, fans have taken screenshots documenting what happened between the cast over the last 24 hours. So, let’s break it down.

How did the latest Selling Sunset drama begin?

Yesterday, Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani came out swinging against fellow Selling Sunset cast member Nicole Young, executive producer Skyler Wakil, Adam Divello and his production company Done And Done Productions.

Chrishell posted this pic on IG with the caption: “Love these girls so much! The days of us being afraid of lies being told are over. We have receipts and voices. (Image: Instagram / Chrishell Stause)

It kicked off when Chrishell watched advance screeners of the upcoming season eight episodes and clocked a lie that Nicole allegedly told about one of her friends.

“Someone needs to take my phone 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??” Chrishell wrote on her IG Story.

“I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.

“Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging.

“It is NOT TRUE. @done_and_done_productions you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”

Once that story expired, Chrishell followed up with a new one.

Who had rumours made up about them?

While it’s not explicitly clear which “bestie” Chrishell was referring to, Instagram Stories posed by Chelsea claim that Nicole made up a rumour about co-star and fellow real estate agent Emma Hernan who was on holiday and couldn’t refute the claims.

“@itsnicoleyoung, you are the most diabolical piece of [trash] I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumour about Emma because all the rumours about you are true,” she wrote, per Us Weekly.

Chelsea also slammed the production company Done And Done Productions for “spreading lies for views”.

Who else is involved in the drama?

If you thought the drama ended there, you’d be mistaken.

Chelsea also called out co-stars Bre Tiesi and Mary Bonnet on a now-deleted Story.

“You lie, placate, steal meanwhile you’re own [trash] has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve kept quiet until now, but this is not okay,” she wrote.

Chelsea also shared a Story alleging that Nicole and one cast member hold homophobic views. She later told an X user named Ev (@raggedy_ev) that she was referring to Bre — who is currently being sued by her former employees for discrimination “on the basis of their sex, gender, and/or sexual orientation”.

When asked in the comments on her own Instagram Post about why Chelsea was coming for her, Bre clapped back.

“Lol ‘cos she’s a miserable hateful human,” she replied.

“She’s been up my ass since day one ask her.”

What does Nicole have to say about this whole thing?

Nicole has taken to her own Instagram Stories to refute claims that she is homophobic.

“I am a staunch supporter and 1000% pro [LGBTQIA+] and have voted in favour of and in protection of LGBTQIA+ equality and basic human rights for as long as I could legally vote,” she wrote.

“Who you love is not a choice and I support all human beings loving whomever they were born to love.”

Emma has remained silent on the alleged lies.

Whether this is a legit beef or a very clever marketing campaign, it’s absolutely working on me and you better believe I’ll be tuning in to the show later this week when it hits our screens.

You can stream season eight of Selling Sunset on Netflix from September 6.
