Selling Sunset's Chrishell makes awkward dig at former co-star as filming starts

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has made an awkward dig at her ex co-star Christine Quinn, after Netflix started filming the new series without her.

Christine, 33, was a staple on the hit show - which follows employees of The Oppenheim Group as they sell some of the most exclusive luxury homes in Los Angeles - since it first debuted in 2019, but confirmed her departure last month.

The realtor announced a new business venture with her husband Christian Richard, while boss Jason Oppenheim confirmed she "no longer" had a place at the company.

With the new series hitting our screens next year, 41-year-old Chrishell has opened up about what fans can expect and what it has been like working without Christine.

"There's going to be some drama that gives me anxiety! But I'm hoping people can focus on some of these incredible houses and fun clients and also the sisterhood we've all genuinely formed," she told new! magazine.

When asked if it has been "strange" filming without Christine, Chrishell made a sly dig and said: "I wouldn't say it has.

"She wasn't really working in real estate for a long time before, so it didn't change much."

During her time on the show, Christine clashed with many other agents including Emma Hernan and Mary Fitzgerald.

The explosive feud saw Christine hit with the shocking claim that she was trying to bribe a client of Emma's to not work with her. She vehemently denied the accusation.

"Accusing someone of a criminal tort is not only defamatory — but you can't afford my lawyers," Christine told PEOPLE.

"So it's not a funny thing to say. I would never bribe a client. I've never bribed a client. I don't need to bribe a client, because they'll work with me organically."

The fashion icon recently opened up about how she believes her departure will affect the show.

She told E! News : "I think that people tune in to see the original characters that were a part of the show, and that was the five girls from season one.

"Throughout the seasons, they started adding and adding and adding, and by that, it dilutes the recipe. Now they have the sauce, but the recipe is not the same, you know?"

She added: "It’s like you watched the Sex and the City remake and you’re like, 'Where the f**k is Samantha?' It just doesn’t work."
