Selling Sunset: Mary's hubby Romain takes swipe at Christine and says feud 'hasn't ended'

Selling Sunset star Romain Bonnet has taken a swipe at co-star Christine Quinn amid her ongoing feud with his wife Mary Fitzgerald.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the happy couple confirmed that they don't see a reconciliation with Christine on the cards.

Netflix released a trailer for the highly-anticipated fifth season of Selling Sunset, and Christine appears be aligning herself with newcomer Chelsea.

When asked if she thinks Christine is trying to befriend Chelsea, Mary said: "I mean she would like to have a friend..." as Romain added: "It would be her only one!"

Season one of Selling Sunset showed just how close Mary and Christine were, and they even lived together at one point, but over time the women have drifted apart.

Mary is now very good friends with the likes of Chrishell Stause and is clearly upset by some of Christine's behaviour.

"I'm sad. I wish she could have just... I don't know, stopped," Mary explained. "I just don't know what she's doing, we're very confused."

The real estate agent then referenced co-star Davina Potratz, who was also pals with Christine - and not much of a fan favourite.

"Like Davina, she saw this wasn't working, this isn't the relationship she wants with everybody and she got a lot of criticism... from my husband definitely!" Mary explained.

"Also from viewers and she's like, 'this isn't what I want', so she did some self reflection and she's made a serious effort to try to be better and more positive and to just change.

"And I wish Christine would do the same, I really do, because I loved her and I wish I could have that with Christine back, but I don't see it happening," she added.

Mary went on to say that she's not feeling "nervous" about watching season 5, but she has no idea what would have been edited out.

"We haven't seen it yet," she said. "We know what we have filmed but we have no idea. We film so much and they edit it down, we don't know what other people do or said.

Mary is now Vice President and managing The Oppenheim Group office (Netflix)

"They let us see it a couple of days before, we all get to see it to prepare ourselves.

"I'm not nervous, I'm interested to see how it comes off because obviously we know what happened in our parts but I'm interested to see if things were cut out or just edited, normally they do a very good job of editing," she added.

Selling Sunset season 5 drops on Netflix on Friday 22 April, 2022.
