Selena Gomez’s kidney donor Francia Raisa begs fans to stop bullying amid alleged feud

Selena Gomez 's kidney donor Francia Raisa has asked fans to stop "bullying" her amid the former friends' alleged feud.

The How I Met Your Father actress, 34, has spoken out about how she has recently been receiving "pretty bad" comments online.

In 2017, Francia underwent surgery as she became best pal Selena's kidney donor after she faced health complications that related to her lupus diagnosis.

And more recently the duo's friendship has been hitting the headlines after Francia unfollowed Selena, 30, on Instagram, with her then dodging a slew of questions about the singer in an interview.

With backlash mounting after she dodged questions about her alleged former friend, Francia deems the reaction from fans as "bullying".

Speaking out about "being bullied like crazy" on May 8, Francia even pointed out how Selena is an advocate for mental health.

"The only thing I’m going to say is in no way, shape or form does anyone condone bullying, especially Selena,” Francia told TMZ.

"She literally has a whole nonprofit dedicated to mental health, and I believe Rare Beauty even just had an event for mental health," she added.

Going on to talk about how the hateful messages she has received online have taken toll on her own mental health, the actress added: "So the fact that I’m now being bullied as I am, it’s messing with me mentally."

"To me it’s not what anyone wants for someone and [Gomez’s] literally out there saying please stop, so I don’t understand why it’s not stopping – not just for me, but others that are also being antagonised online."

She then went on to say how she tries not to read the comments online and is "very happy" and living her best life.

Francia also added: "I’m sending love to everyone. I understand because I’ve been a hardcore fan of people myself growing up, I totally, totally, totally get it but it’s not nice and I would say – not just with me but with anyone – please stop."

The esteemed actress was out for a walk with her dog last week when she was approached by somebody who fired a string of questions at her about Selena.

Asked by the interviewer if everything between them is okay, Francia dodged the Selena angle and said: "Sunday is so fun, it's a day of rest. I'm Francia and I'm hanging out with my dog."

Francia then seemingly shaded the singer again whenever she was asked a question about her alleged former pal.

The duo reportedly fell out when Selena told an interviewer that the only person she was close to in Hollywood was Taylor Swift, as well as how Francia allegedly told Selena to stop drinking because "didn't give her a kidney, so she could go out and drink".
