Leeds United need results and they need them fast if they are to secure their status as a Premier League club. Wednesday evening’s visit of Chelsea is the first of two consecutive home fixtures that Jesse Marsch’s side must take advantage of.
Team selection has become a real issue for the Whites boss after it had initially looked as though he would have a fully fit squad heading into the run in. The injury to Stuart Dallas has thrown a massive spanner in the works while it is touch and go as to whether Liam Cooper will be able to move back into the defence.
Luke Ayling’s sending off at Arsenal has only worsened the selection headache with Jamie Shackleton, Dan James and Raphinha among the options to slot in at right-back or right wing-back, according to Marsch. While the picture is much clearer in the attacking section of the team, there are still choices to be made.

Marsch opted to bring Joe Gelhardt into the frontline at the Emirates but he was the unfortunate casualty that was brought off to account for Ayling’s dismissal. He scored the last time Leeds faced Chelsea so he may well retain his place in the starting XI at Elland Road on Wednesday.
While Marsch will continue to scratch his head regarding his team ahead of the trip to West London, we want to hear the starting XI you would choose against the Blues. Would you risk Cooper, would you bring Lewis Bate into the midfield after his impressive showing at Arsenal and would you keep Gelhardt in attack?
