Seinfeld’s Porsche 911 GT3, Other Exclusive Vehicles To Be Auctioned By Bonhams April 10

Jerry Seinfeld’s auto collection is comprised of (about) 150 exotic, rare and vintage vehicles, well-noted and salivated over by the car-loving public. And, rest assured, none of them need “Johnson rods” or have had blood in their engines.

But the legendary comedian is letting go of his 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which goes up for auction at Bonhams’ “Supercars on Sunset” April 10 – and it’s one sweet ride.

It’s got a 4.0-Liter DOHC Flat 6-Cylinder Engine making 520 bhp at 8,250 rpm. It’s also got a 7-Speed Electro-Hydraulic Paddle-Shift Transaxle, 4-Wheel Independent Suspension, 4-Wheel Carbon Ceramic Disc Brakes and options including Porsche’s “Special Wishes” totaling over $250,000, pushing it right into the stratosphere at $449,890 (window sticker.) Mr. Seinfeld, naturally, is the original owner, and having a celebrity owner makes this a for-sure classic.

Since the introduction of the original 901 in 1963, Porsche has produced a line of six-cylinder rear-engine sports cars that could compete with much more powerful cars thanks to their low weight and superior handling. The 911 quickly became an icon of performance and handling and offered a driving experience unlike anything else. The 911 has continuously evolved into a more sophisticated, powerful, and capable driving machine, as well as a reliable and usable car.

That’s not the only exclusive set of wheels on the block, of course. Also appearing will be this 2007 Saleen S7-LM.

It’s one of only seven built, it’s got a furnace of an engine at 1,000 horsepower via a 7.0-Liter DOHC Twin-Turbo V8 Engine. It’s being sold by its original owner – who only put 300 miles on it. The car tips the scales at a mere 2,950 pounds, thanks to a lightweight steel space frame complete with safety features like honeycomb aluminum crumple zones as well as an integrated roll cage surrounding the drivers’ compartment. Many composites were also used to keep the weight down including constructing the body from carbon fiber as well as utilizing composite honeycomb structures for various panels on the frame.

Also available is this 2019 McLaren Senna GTR. Picture a Formula One racer handing you the keys to his ride and you’ll understand the sheer power at your feet and fingertips.

The fastest publicly available McLaren around a track, it’s got a 4.0-Liter DOHC Twin-Turbo V8 Engine, makes a ridiculous 814 hp at 7,250 rpm, has 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission, Independent Front and Rear Suspension, 4-Wheel Carbon Ceramic Disc Brakes and so much more. It’s also the 21st of just 75 to be created. Shown in incredible condition, this Senna GTR has received limited use since being delivered and shows under 50 miles on the odometer. As such, even the racing buckets present with barely a sign of having been sat in, and this evidence of being well cared for extends to the exterior where little is to be found in the way of blemishes.

Here’s another we really go crazy over and so do you – a 2019 Ford GT Heritage Edition.

It houses a thunderous 3.5-Liter EcoBoost V6 Engine making 647 bhp at 6,250rpm, a 7-speed Dual-Clutch manual shift, Independent 4-Wheel Suspension, 4-Wheel Carbon Ceramic Disc Brakes and other great goodies.

The transaxle is a seven-speed, dual-clutch Getrag unit, which can be controlled through aluminum shift paddles or allowed to shift for itself. With launch control activated, the GT can reach 60 mph in a mere 3.2 seconds.

The passenger shell and body panels are constructed of carbon fiber, with front and rear aluminum substructures, for strength and light weight. Fully active aerodynamic components improve braking, handling and stability. An active rear spoiler can deploy and adjust its height and pitch angle, and even change its shape, depending on speed and driver input. Shutters in the nose open and close to direct airflow as needed, ensuring that front and rear downforce are always in balance.

This is a phenomenal, not-to-be-missed auction. Here’s a little more detailed description of what’s to take place:
