Manchester City fans have been reacting to the news that Oleksandr Zinchenko is starting and will captain their side against Peterborough United in the FA Cup this evening.
Fernandinho was named as captain when the team news was first announced. However, it is believed that he offered the armband to Zinchenko before the match.
Pep Guardiola announced yesterday that the Ukraine international would be starting this evening. The decision to see him return to the starting XI has been received with delight by supporters.

Zinchenko was visibly emotional after City's victory over Everton on Saturday, with both sides taking the opportunity to show their support for his homeland before the game after Russia invaded Ukraine.
Jack Grealish also starts for City after returning to fitness following a shin injury, while Gabriel Jesus also gets the nod after his own injury problems. At the back, Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias start in the centre in what is a strong City line-up.
