North Berwick in East Lothian was named in a list featuring other UK locations like Greenwich in London and Narberth in Pembrokeshire.
Introducing the list, The Times said: "These high streets will go on to survive and thrive over the next few years."

Discussing the coastal town of North Berwick in Scotland, The Times said: "Footfall was already good on the high street of coastal North Berwick — it increased after a new, local 'Town Centre First' project — but it’s better than ever post-Covid now that we’ve all realised that we do want to be beside the seaside.
"Stop at peaceful Paper Flower for handmade cards and gifts (37 High Street) and family-owned Norden for hip homewares (norden.online) or put your pet first and shop at Barker & Bone, a designer boutique for the discerning dog (and cat) owner (47 High Street).
