Philippe Clement has held talks with Cyriel Dessers over his Rangers future.
Despite a goal off the bench in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Aberdeen, the striker has fallen out of favour in recent weeks amid the emergence of Hamza Igamane.
Dessers has played 32 times for the Ibrox club this season but has started just once in the past month.
As his amount of game time has decreased, speculation over a potential transfer exit for the Nigerian has grown.
Clement revealed today that he has talked with the 30-year-old about his future: "We will see what happens," he said.

"Cyriel is working really hard. He's doing everything. He's good in the group. He's a very good lad. He's thinking very collectively always.
"Is there a moment that he wants to play all the games? Then he needs to make a decision. If it's not the case, he's in competition with others. That's freeing him to talk."
It remains to be seen where Dessers will end up come the end of the January transfer window.
After his strike, which wrapped up Wednesday's win over the Dons, he will hope to return to the starting eleven for Sunday's visit of Highland League side Fraserburgh to Ibrox.
