If anyone thought Ohio State might be looking ahead to “The Game” next week, they can put that notion to bed — at least on the first possession against Maryland. The Buckeyes took the opening drive and marched down the field for a TreVeyon Henderson touchdown.
Henderson has been hampered with injuries the past few weeks but says he had a good week of practice and felt good. Well, he certainly looked good as C.J. Stroud found his running back in the flats, and then Henderson did the rest, weaving and cutting his way to the endzone.
Take a look at the scoring strike and then see how social media reacted to seeing Ohio State’s starting running back looking healthy once again.
See TreVeyon Henderson get Ohio State on the board
Doesn't take long for Ohio State to get on the board. C.J. Stroud hits the speedy TreVeyon Henderson through the air on a blitz beater for 31-yards. OSU up 7-0. #GoBucks https://t.co/uUANSgpNID

Stutter step and cut... leave 'em in the dust
Nasty stutter and cut by TreVeyon Henderson to score on a 31-yard pass play just 92 seconds into the action. Buckeyes strike first.

Simple and effective
Such a simple and awesome play design to get TreVeyon Henderson in space. Awesome block by Cade Stover, too. pic.twitter.com/c1pLVdeZdS

Do more of that
Throwing the ball to TreVeyon Henderson in space leads to a 31-yard touchdown
They should probably do that more
