Amy Schneider’s epic run in Jeopardy! is over.
In her 41st match, she got up to Final Jeopardy and faced a tough battle — Rhone Talsma, a Chicago librarian, had $17,600 and Schneider had $27,600.
And the clue was even tougher: “The only nation in the world whose name in English ends in an “H,” it’s also one of the 10 most populous.”
Talsma nailed it: Bangladesh, and a bet of $12,000 got him to $29,600.
Schneider couldn’t come up with it, and her bet of $8,000 took her into second place.
