The Indiana Pacers defeated the Boston Celtics 133-131 in a thriller that came down to the final seconds of the contest — and depending on who you ask, whether the refs need an eye exam. A controversial challenge overturning a foul called on Jaylen Brown in the game’s waning seconds that could have been curtains for the Pacers had the Georgia native converted and Boston defended afterward.
But the head-scratching reversal raised eyebrows everywhere, with Indiana guard Buddy Hield even admitting that there was a foul to Celtics head Joe Mazzulla. Brown was irate enough that his usually-reserved self to demand an investigation into the call reversal.
