This new dog wash facility along the North Tyneside coast is becoming all the rage with pet owners.
The unit, located behind the Rendezvous cafe on the promenade in Whitley Bay, offers a quick way to shampoo, condition, rinse and blow dry pooches.
It is available to use 24/7 and has warm water. It costs £7 for 10 minutes, with payment accepted by contactless cards.

NE Dog Wash, which is behind the initiative, also has units at Blyth beach and Plessey Woods Country Park in Northumberland.
The company applied to North Tyneside Council for permission to install the Whitley Bay unit and said the authority was very supportive.
Directors Robert Irving and Sarah Canham also say there are plans to install more units around the North East.
Sarah, of Whitley Bay, added: "This is not just a hose down. It's a shampoo, condition and blow dry - it's the full works.
"We got the idea for this in Spain. We saw a dog wash unit on a garage forecourt while on holiday and thought it was a brilliant idea.
"When we got back, we did some research and developed the concept here. The feedback we have had has been really good."
Scores of people have been commenting on it on social media.
One dog owner said on Facebook: "Great idea, I'll definitely be using it."
Another wrote: "That’s amazing. What a fantastic idea."
And one added: "I think it's a good idea to give any dog a quick wash down after being on the beach."
