Retired New York Giants kicker and two-time Super Bowl champion, Lawrence Tynes, took the podium in Kansas City on Friday night to announce the team’s second-round pick.
As expected, Tynes brought unique energy with him to the microphone and dressed down in a t-shirt featuring Brian Daboll’s bald head, called out the name of Minnesota center John Michael Schmitz.

“We’re looking for smart, we’re looking for tough, we’re looking for dependable,” Tynes roared.
Prior to the start of Day 2, Tynes said he planned to be straightforward with the announcement and worried only about properly pronouncing the player’s name.
Mission accomplished. As always, Tynes nailed it in clutch time.
