One of the greatest things about the NFL draft is watching prospects receive their selection phone calls and having their family and friends celebrate around them.
In that moment, they realize the journey has been worth it and their lives are changed forever.
Such was the case on Thursday night when New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll called Maryland cornerback Deonte Banks to inform him he was headed to East Rutherford.

As excited as Banks and his entourage were, no one seemed more excited than Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, who could not contain himself.
